    You are buying 2 (TWO) NEW 1/2" DIAMETER
    by a
    NOMINAL
    12" LONG
    THIN WALL TUBES of CLEAR BLUE FLUORESCENT EXTRUDED ACRYLIC.

    THIS IS CUT FROM A NEW 6 FOOT LONG LENGTH OF TUBE.
    THE SAW BLADE IS 1/8" THICK. THEREFORE 1/8" OF MATERIAL IS LOST DURING THE CUTTING PROCESS.
    These tubes have a 1/16" thick wall which provides an outside dimension (OD) of 1/2" and an inside dimension (ID) of 3/8".
    The 1st picture is of the tubes being held in front of a FLUORESCENT BLACK LIGHT
    The tubes will glow
    ONLY
    when in the influence of a black or Actinic type light.
    In normal light conditions the tubes are very very light blue, almost clear.
    As you can see from the picture of the tubes on the black grid, these tubes are very translucent.
    The color of the tubes will of course vary depending on the back round color due to being translucent.
    You are buying and will receive
    TWO 1/2" OD x 3/8" ID x 12" (11 7/8") tubes
    .
    To assure that you get the finest quality, the protective sleeve is kept in place on the rods while being cut to protect the acrylic.
    All tubes have saw cut edges on both ends. Saw cutting can cause micro chips on the ends of the tube as seen in the pictures.
    Please allow a tolerance of +/- 1/16" on all cuts.
