The 2020 Lange RSJ 60 junior ski boots are an awesome choice for kids looking for their first foray into the four-buckle world of ski boots. With a 60 flex and a junior last and liner, these boots have a great combination of comfort and performance. For kids, ski boots can be pretty tricky. They often do not know how it's supposed to fit or feel, so getting a good read on the sizing is of the utmost importance. With a 60-flex rating, the boots are easy for bigger skiers to flex, but as a four-buckle offering, it's a bit stiffer than the three-buckle design, as it does come up higher. Additionally, the power strap is ideal for cinching things up around the calf and shin, so even thinner-legged kids will get some security at the top of the boot. The junior last and liner are both comfortable and warm. They do a great job of keeping the kids' foot secure while maintaining snugness to improve performance. The toe and heel plates are replaceable, and kids really seem to like to shuffle their feet on pavement and brick plazas, so that comes in handy for sure mid-season. The tongue loop makes it easier for kids to get the boots on, and as any parent knows, the kid's first time putting their own boots on is equivalent to them riding their bike for the first time. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
