I ordered two of these to use as a backdrop for a play, and they arrived in two slightly different shades. Also, one was cut from one piece of cloth, and the other was three pieces seamed together. I suppose if you are actually using it as a dropcloth to paint, it would be fine, just don't expect it to be one piece of fabric or for two of them to match.
