Specifically designed for people who work or game in front of computers, the Embody Chair (2008) promotes good posture and makes you feel like you’re floating, providing ergonomic support while allowing you to move. Its narrow back allows you to twist and reach while its “spine” automatically adjusts to your body’s curve. In forward or reclined positions, the lumbar support stays with you. Having the freedom to move makes your body feel better, improves your blood circulation and sends more oxygen to the brain – all of which help you focus on your work. It’s excellent for body, mind and even the environment. This is the authentic Embody Chair by Herman Miller. Made in U.S.A. Embody is manufactured at a 100%-green-energy facility and is 95% recyclable, 42% recycled and PVC-free.

Shipping and Delivery:
Our shipping methods are determined by the type of item. Our available shipping methods are Fedex, Threshold and White Glove/In-Home delivery. Depending on location, some items might require a shipping quote our cost and delivery time could vary considerably. Smaller items tend to ship FedEx, and most large furniture pieces ships with full-service In-Home Delivery, which includes placement in your room of choice, assembly and removal of all packaging.
FedEx Delivery:*
Smaller parcels will be delivered to your door Tuesday–Saturday. Tracking information will be provided once your order leaves our warehouse. Typical delivery takes 5–10 business days from date of shipment. Parcels with a total combined selling price over 0 require a direct signature from the buyer. Tracking number's will be provided via eBay or e-mail.
Threshold Delivery:*
Larger parcels will be delivered over your threshold unless destination is a multi-unit building, in which case they will be left inside building entrance, not at your door. Typical delivery takes 1–3 weeks from date of shipment within the contiguous U.S. Includes an appointment with a 4-hour delivery window coordinated by an agent. Excludes unpacking, assembly and removal of packing materials. Please note: Deliveries to remote areas without highway access may take longer than usual
White Glove/In-Home Delivery:*
Larger parcels will be delivered into your space and placed as specified. Typical delivery takes 1–3 weeks from date of shipment within the contiguous U.S. Includes an appointment with a 4-hour delivery window coordinated by an agent, unpacking, assembly, placement in your room of choice and removal of packing materials. Excludes wall mounting, electrical work, structural changes, assembly of shelving and removal of non-DWR items. This method is sometimes required for select items subject to damage due to their size, weight or fragility.*Please note: Deliveries to remote areas without highway access may take longer than usual
Local Pickup:
When available, we offer free local pickup where the item is located at the time of purchase. Those locations are DWR Outlets located in Brooklyn, NY; Yonkers, NY; Oxnard, CA; Vero Beach, FL. Please make arrangements to pick up your items within 3 days of sale and/or contact us for more information.
International shipping:
Our items are designed and packaged for delivery within the contiguous U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada (limitations apply). We do not offer shipping or freight forwarding to international destinations; however, we can ship to a domestic freight forwarder of your choosing for international delivery
