Description
Here a pretty vintage measuring cup which was made by the McKee Glass Company in the 1930's or 1940's. The green colored glass (which you probably already know) is referred to as 'Jadeite'.The piece is about 3-1/2" tall at the edges, it's about 6-1/5" wide from handle to spout, and 4-5/8" across the bowl. It has measuring lines on the outside in cups, ounces and pints on one side, and in 1/3 cup increments on the other side. It's in nice shape, though there is a little 'stress mark' on the underside, which is right above the McKee mark. Pretty thing, cool relic of a bygone era, and I suppose you could still use it if you wanted to. I've got way too much glassware in my life (and can't keep myself from buying more constantly - I've had this all of one day at this writing), and it needs a new home.
