LEWIS WINCH, CHAINSAW POWERED WINCH, DRIVEN  BY YOUR CHAINSAW'S, SPUR SPROCKET.
Sold for 'Parts or not Working'.
The winch appears to work correctly but we have not 'tested it' on a 'long pull'. Appears to be an early model.
It is a heavy winch
. It arrived attached to a Lombard AV Chainsaw, that is listed separately.
The gear box must be filled with 80-90 wt. gear oil before use (see directions) or white lithium grease. The unit does leak gear oil at the gear box cover and may need a new gasket.
Gaskets and other parts are available from Bailey's. There are several good videos on You Tube about this winch.
Make sure the winch will fit your chainsaw before purchase.
Your saw needs a '7 tooth spur sprocket' to drive the winch (see close up photo of the mate). The winch mounts to the bar mounts with bar nuts.
Front guide is easy to remove and will be removed for shipping, buyer to re-install upon delivery (two bolts and nuts).
It comes with a long 'anchor chain' that attaches to the bottom of the Lewis Winch.
It has two brakes, the one on the left side of the unit may need adjustment to fit your chainsaw.
