We are pleased to offer for sale a McKee Depression Era yellow "
Sarah
" Vase. This beautiful  large vase  is in
Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or major mold imperfections
. Note: The vase has one very tiny piece of sand caught in the glass.  This is common but we want you to know it is there. Please check the photo, although hard to see, it is there.  The vase is has some fine scratching on the base around the rim.
The vase nice and shiny. The Seville color is outstanding.  The inside of the vase is nice and clean without residue.

The McKee Glass Company made complete line of yellow milk glass items made specifically for the kitchen area.  There were round canisters with glass lids, canisters with aluminum screw lids and drop lids, measuring cups, reamers, rolling pins, water dispensers, leftover jars, spice shakers, salt and peppers, water bottles, a salt box, mixers and mixing bowls in several different shapes. There was even a punch bowl made in this color. The Lancaster Glass Company made a smaller line of kitchen yellow. Pieces of their glass are harder to obtain and not as many items were produced.  The Lancaster color was not as vivid and deep as McKee's.  McKee's once loved color is still popular with collectors today.  Although it is not easily found, putting together a complete set of Seville Yellow is well worth the hunt.
