  • Condition: The shaker measures 5" high, including the lid. From bottom to top of shoulder on the side is 4¼" inches. It is fine quality black glass. No chips, cracks, repairs or fleabites, inside or outside. The top rim is smooth. The one side of the rim where the lid locks is either fleabit or has manufacturing flaw.This doesn't affect the putting the lid on or off. The original gold "P" is wearing off. SEE pictures please.

    Description

    A Genuine McKee depression glass Art Deco PEPPER shaker for a classic deco table!   Over 80 years old but still completely functional and a joy to use. I will also list SALT that matches this one  I have been collecting McKee green shakers, black, cream and white ones too, since the 1980s. I am selling my collection of Jadeite McKee, Black glass, and FireKing dishes. I do love to sell

    I have 3 more of these in the same style, ("S" and "P"} but none have complete and intact lettering.
    I've been selling on eBay since 1999!  Before that time I have been in co-op antique stores in Los Angeles and Oregon, since the 80s.
    LID:  Original Lid.  Not a "screw on" in the traditional fashion.  The lid is a "twist and lock" type.  It has been used, but is clean and dent-free.
    TOP:  Smooth and rounded.  Outside on the rim where the lid locks has the look of either manufacturer's flaw or overly enthusiastic twisting of the lid.  It does not interfere with the function of the lid at all.
    INSIDE: Crack free
    BOTTOM: Chip free
