Exceptional pair of vintage cast iron jack-o-lantern Halloween votives.
These are beautifully finished and beautifully painted and have marvelous faces as I hope the pics show. The stitched mouths were very difficult to execute in cast iron, a real mark of quality.
Come from a local Dallas estate, no signatures or markings found on my careful examination, but probably Made in Japan and ca. about the 1980s/90s.

The size and shape of these is such that if you use a standard 99 cent votive candle from the grocery store they should show off the light beautifully and it would be fun to use a pumpkin- or spice-scented votive (never leave a burning candle unattended).
Excellent vintage condition with minimal paint wear consistent with age and no damage of any sort. Both retain their handle rings. All the paint is 100% original with no re-painting. Stand straight and true on the tabletop, not crooked or wobbly. Pics are of the actual items offered for sale and show the condition well.
