4.Apply pressure slowly to each rivet，auddenly applying excessive pressure to the rivet will cause the connecting rod to bend and damage the chain.
How to use the roller chain holder:
1.Find the chain on your old chain
2.Count the of links and length you need
3.Shorten the new chain to desired length
4.use a conneeting link to conneet the ends together,
5.Easily pull the chain together for connecting.

Important note: DO NOT push the pin all the way through the link or it will DESTROY the chain. Works great until the pin is about 1/2 way pushed out.
